Trump is entering office with a mandate from millions of disenfranchised Americans. The economic policies espoused by the self-serving, middle-class destroying establishment over the last 30 years have resulted in the rich getting obscenely richer and the poor getting miserably poorer. The end result is that economic and social mobility for average American families has declined, and for all practical purposes has disappeared. And what Obama calls an economic recovery is now much lower than in other advanced economies. This has been an important cause for disillusion and anger among many Americans who absolutely and correctly feel that the economic system is rigged against them and in favor of the very rich.
It is not just that the rich are getting richer, there is also a secondary issue at work and it has to do with the fact that millions of Americans are witnessing the unveiling of a police state that discriminates against self-employment, the desecration of the Constitution and an attack upon traditional values that have their roots in Christianity.
There is a smaller, but still large segment, who fear for their lives as Americans. Many Americans are very concerned because we see our enemies getting stronger by the day and Obama has seemingly done everything he can do to weaken America’s military. We have fewer ships than we did in World War I and fewer troops than we did prior to World War II when this nation was woefully unprepared to fight a war.
Can a Trump Presidency make the desired changes that the people who elected hope to make?
The Reduction of Cronyism
During the 2016 campaign, Trump clearly stated that “If I become president, I couldn’t care less about my company. It’s peanuts… I wouldn’t ever be involved because I wouldn’t care about anything but our country, anything.” It was in this spirit that he stated that he would try and eliminate as much corruption as possible by eliminating the practice of people connected to Congress going to work as lobbyists for private interests for five years following their governmental service.
This is a brilliant move because I am tired of being sold out by former Congressmen in this regard. The American people should expect their politicians not to use their positions, directly or indirectly, to enrich themselves. Now, can Trump get Congress to vote against their own corruption? That remains to be seen.
Trump Will Not Be Soft on Putin’s Militarism.
Russia expects to enter into discussions with Trump regarding their nuclear build up and the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, is the on the record as having said the same.
Lavrov said the new agenda for such negotiations should also include new hypersonic weapons with scalar wave technology, the US missile shield in Europe, space weapons and nuclear testing. From what I have been able to learn about a secret space program which includes space weapons, this is will be the sticking point. The only reason that I believe that Russia and/or China has not yet attacked us is because Obama was unable to disarm our space-based weapons for which Russia and China do not yet have an answer for.
Many of sources feel that Obama was apprehensive about attacking our space-based technology because the military would would have strongly rallied against the move and this was too much for Obama to take on.
In a Sunday Times interview, Trump stated that we consider reviewing the US sanction on Russia so long as the Russians are willing to significantly reduce its stockpile of nuclear weapons.
The dialogue between Russia and Trump is very positive and takes some of the sting out of Obama’s military provocations toward Russia.
Free Trade Agreements
The Global Research website is truly showing their anti-American spirit with their recent writings and this is typical of many of the MSM publications.
Global Research accuses Trump of protectionism and his actions will global trade back
There is nothing more despicable than a government that sells its citizens out. I applaud Trump for trying to keep jobs in America. I welcome the implementation of tariffs for American based corporations who cost millions of American jobs overseas in search of cheaper labor, which imposes untold amounts of human suffering. Yet, Global Research, NBC, CNN et al would expect you, the American people, to sacrifice your economic viability in the name of increasing the insane level of profits.
It is not the immigrants we fear coming into the country looking for a better way of life. It is the drug cartels and the fifth column terrorist groups that accompany them. Why are organizations like CNN so opposed to vetting immigrants. Doesn’t Anderson Cooper care about national security?
Trumps policies are hailed as xenophobic. No, they are anti-terrorist and anti-drug cartel. I fail to see why the immigration controls we successfully practiced in the 19th century are racist and xenophobic. They are common sense and cautious.
Treason In Our Midst
Is anyone else bothered by the fact that body count of Democratic Congressmen who are not attending the Inauguration is up to 38 and growing. Their charge is led by the very radicalized John Lewis. Lewis belongs to the Progressive Caucus which a clear front organization for the Communist Party as are the other 38 Congressmen.
At minimum, I am concerned because these Congressmen are demonstrating that they will not work with this President. This is troublesome because the Congress and the President must work together for the good of the country.
At maximum, I am concerned about this development because questions about these 38 Congressmen are being asked by my audience with regard to their real motivation. Many of my readers and viewers are questioning if these Congressmen want to simply be “out of the blast zone” at the inauguration. Even if this is not true, the public perception is damaging to the confidence that the people feel towards their government if it is going to work properly.
Mot one of these reforms will see the light of day with the current Congress we have as typified by John Lewis who demonstrates his anti-American sentiment with each passing day. All Trump will be able to accomplish is gridlock.
How can the Americans stop the gridlock? The answer is simple. Every Congressman and one-third of the senators need to be shown the door in 2018. Only then, will Trump have meaningful reforms.
At the end of the day, it is not up to Trump, it is up to us.
